ADDY Awards
The ADDY Awards committee is responsible for organizing AAF Chattanooga's largest and most exciting event of the year. The ADDY Awards competition honors the best and brightest advertising talent in the Chattanooga area. Winners go on to compete in regional and national competitions. Planning starts in August and continues until wrap-up in April. It takes several sub-committees to pull this event together. Including Public Relations, Collateral, Ceremony, Sponsorships, Judging, and Volunteers.

Media Auction
Each year AAF Chattanooga holds a media auction to raise money to support educational programs for member and to provide student scholarships. The live media auction and silent auction combined with food and plenty of fun is a big hit every year. Volunteers are needed August through November to work on creative enticement pieces, event planning, soliciting and coordination of donations, media buyer recruitment, event photography and much more.

Silver Medal
The American Advertising Federation's Silver Medal Award Program was established in 1959 to recongnize men and women who have made outstanding contributions to advertising and who have been active in furthering the industry's standards, creative excellence and responsibility in areas of social concern. Annually, AAF member clubs bestow this honor upon outstanding members of the local advertising community.

Membership
The membership committee provides and encourages increased membership in AAF Chattanooga. The committee also acts as a liaison between members and the various standing committees and activities of AAF Chattanooga so that each member may discover ways to contribute according to their interests and available time.

Scholarships
AAF Chattanooga is the best place for our local students to begin their involvement with the advertising community. Through networking, meeting attendance and supporting education, we are molding the next generation of advertising professionals.

Diversity
Our country, and our community, is a melting pot of people. cultures, and nationalities. It is estimated that by the year 2025 nearly half of the population wil be Hispanic, Asian, or African American. AAF Chattanooga would like to make a conscious, steady effort to engage more minority members in the club. We need your help to accomplish this.

Public Service
The purpose of the Public Service Committee is to make use of the advertising and marketing expertise found within the organization to effect a positive impact to a selectd non-profit entity within the Chattanooga area. The committee will develop a marketing plan which includes: An advertising campaign for radio, tv, and print.

Legislative
AAF Chattanooga supports the American Advertising Federation efforts to protect and promote advertising at all levels of government through its activites. We monitor advertising legislative issues and get member involved at communicating with legislative officials when the need arise.
